Guide training is preformed regularly in house and all Canyoning New Zealand staff are encourage to gain our local recognised New Zealand Outdoor Instructors Association (NZOIA) canyoning qualifications.

New Zealand safety standards for operating an adventure tourism activity are amongst some of the highest in the world, Canyoning New Zealand is proud to be Worksafe New Zealand approved.

OUR ENVIRONMENT

Canyoning New Zealand is privileged to be able to share these special canyoning locations with our customers.

We take special care when walking through our beautiful New Zealand landscapes because our lands, the plants and the animals are all precious to us.

Our promise is always to endeavour to enhance the parks use and appreciation and make it accessible to people who may not otherwise use it.

Canyoning New Zealand shares the same objectives as the New Zealand Department of Conservation (DOC).

It’s important to us to prevent, where possible, the further decline or loss of indigenous species from both within the park and adjacent lands and waters and to support the communities actions for protecting threatened species.
