ASPIRING XXL FULL DAY CANYONING ADVENTURE

Imagine yourself standing at the top of a rugged cliff, the roar of a waterfall filling your ears as your heart pounds with anticipation, this guided tour is packed with plenty of thrills, including exhilarating abseils, heart-pounding climbs, slides, and daring jumps into crystal-clear pools of water.

1 of 3 different tours we have located in the pristine wilderness of the Mt Aspiring National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site, with limited numbers allowed in the park this adventure is reserved for the fortunate few each season. Immerse yourself in nature’s playground as you explore this remote and untouched landscape.

While no prior experience is needed, a medium level of fitness is required and good swimming ability too.  You’ll need to be physically able to strut your stuff in a wetsuit for up to 4 hours navigating through the terrain with walks, climbs, swims, jumps and moves that’ll leave you feeling totally accomplished!  The time spent in the canyon can vary depending on the groups ability, but is usually up to 4 hours of canyoning time.

We will kit you out in the very best canyoning equipment and begin our hike up to the canyon start, we will be walking through lush green beach forest for about 20 minutes, your first direct hit of New Zealand nature, immerse yourself in nature’s playground as you explore this remote and untouched landscape.

Canyoning New Zealand is an adventure activity that is safety audited annually to the highest standards.  Part of our responsibility is to ensure all participants understand the risks of participating prior to booking their tickets.

The trip is mentally and physically demanding and requires the participants to be English speaking, comfortable and confident with moving over uneven and possibly slippery terrain, being in the water and dealing with heights.
