The Paradise Glenorchy Full Day Tour is perfect for beginners wanting an epic canyoning experience in a short amount of time.

No experience – no problem!
While no prior experience is needed, English speaking and a medium level of fitness is required.Β You’ll need to be physically able to strut your stuff in a wetsuit for up to 3 hours, navigating through the terrain with walks, climbs, and moves that’ll leave you feeling like a true adventurer.
Important info: Participants must be physically able to complete the activity in the allowed time duration and it is at the guides discretion to ensure all participants suitability!Β Feel free to get in touch with our friendly team if you have any questions about your suitability.

8.45am – Meeting at our central pick up location, OUTSIDE the Eichardts Hotel, 2 Marine Parade, Queenstown, 9304
8.50am – Participants check in and are given a verbal safety briefing on the adventure
9am – Depart Queenstown and transfer out to Glenorchy
9.45am – Arrive at Glenorchy, stop at the toilets
10.30am – Arrive at Paradise, participants are issued equipment to get dressed for the adventure
11amΒ –Β Safety demonstration and explanation
11.15am – Canyoning time, walking, abseiling, sliding and climbing into and through the canyon
2pmΒ – Changing and dressing, preparing for departure back to Queenstown
2.30pm – Depart Paradise transfer to Glenorchy, stop at the toilets
3pm – Depart Glenorchy,, transfer back to Queenstown
4pm – Arrive back at Queenstown , participants dropped off

Our minimum age is legally set at 10 to join the fun, also for our young thrill-seekers aged 10 to 14, we ask that a supervisor aged 16 years or older tags along to keep the excitement flowing safely.
Our maximum age of 60 years is not legally set, for persons wanting to travel over 60 years old, we ask that they understand the trips physical requirements and safety information, please contact our friendly team for a 60 years plus exception on this tour.

Canyoning New Zealand is an adventure activity that is safety audited annually to the highest standards.Β Part of our responsibility is to ensure all participants understand the risks of participating prior to booking their tickets.
The trip is mentally and physically demanding and requires the participants to be English speaking, comfortable and confident with moving over uneven and possibly slippery terrain, being in the water and dealing with heights.
