When we founded Canyoning New Zealand back in 2015, our vision was simple: to share our passion for canyoning and give others the opportunity to experience some of New Zealand’s most spectacular and otherwise inaccessible natural environments.
As a small, family-owned adventure tourism company, we’ve poured an incredible amount of energy, hard work, and heart into building a business we’re proud of.
From our incredible canyoning locations around Queenstown, Glenorchy and Wānaka to the experiences we create for every guest, our goal has always been to deliver something truly exceptional.
More than a decade later, that passion continues to drive everything we do.

Behind every canyoning adventure is a group of highly skilled, enthusiastic outdoor professionals who bring an extraordinary amount of dedication to their work.
Adventure guiding is no ordinary job. It demands technical expertise, physical resilience, excellent judgement, and an enormous responsibility for the safety and wellbeing of every participant.
But what makes our team so special is that they bring so much more than technical ability. They bring energy, encouragement, personality, and a genuine love for sharing the sport with others.
It’s our guides who turn an incredible adventure into an unforgettable experience.
We feel incredibly fortunate to work alongside such passionate people, many of whom return season after season, helping us build the strong team culture that makes Canyoning New Zealand what it is today.
